Day 14: Monday.

What more can I say? It's Monday.

We drove into town today, early. Dropped my husband off at the dockyard gate, long wimpering goodbye from my daughter, waving 'til we were out of sight. Dropped the kids off at my mom's and ventured downtown to run errands...sidetracked to Lululemon where I bought 3 articles at $200. Whoops! Mind you, I was pregnant all last year and haven't bought any new clothes in a really really long time AND I do intend to start running again.

Actually, that's not true. I did buy a nice skirt and sweater for the Change of Command, but today's purchases are for all the time. And, as I said, for when I start running again.

I don't often spend much money on stuff other than food. Although, I must admit that I do love a good thrift store find. But today, at Lululemon, I decided that I deserved it. Besides, every purchase only drives up the company's profits, which, in turn, drives up the price of stock, which I am an owner of. (This week's Q1 indicated a 67% increase from last year's Q1.) I'll get to stock later I think. That's part of this year too...increasing my financial literacy.

All this to say, I bought myself something nice to feel better for the hole that is my husband's absence these days.

And because I plan to start running again...any day now.
