Day 138: Finding time

I suck at this right now. With him home, everything is slightly off kilter. We revolve around him, enjoying the conversation and the action. We all want a bit of him. Vying for his attention like happy dogs wanting to please. Getting tangled in his legs.

So, right now, this has fallen by the wayside.

But, it shouldn't.

I still have so much more to say. So much to discover about myself and the rest of it all. Like tomorrow I have a field trip to Swan Lake to identify native plants, digging to the depths of who they really are. And with them, me.

I forgot my camera the other day. Forgot it when I shouldn't have, when something kind of significant was worth taking some shots of. (Not that I ever post them here cause I'm too damn lazy to figure out how to.)

Which brings me to this:

This is his computer. Him being home = him on the computer. My computer is screwed and waiting to be shipped off to Tennessee. And, I do have the picture loader thingy figured out on it. So, as I wait, and as he's home, I find myself less and less making my way down here to chronicle my life of Captain wifeism etc.

That being said, it's really not that hard to squeeze in a minute or two.
