Day 120: Day 2

I haven't been dedicating the amount of time and effort to this blog as I had imagined I would. I had grand plans...no, grand vision, but I don't have the grand energy or time. The moment I finish up here, I'll turn off the computer, go upstairs and start on the dishes. Then, I'll move to the livingroom to fold laundry while I watch some Biggest Looser, tea and chocolate chip cookies to the side. I have 2 chapters of homework to read on plant diseases and diagnosing problems, which I'll do in bed, under covers in my comfy zone, away from distraction.

These days are busy. My house is a mess.

Today we spent a good hour, maybe more, digging invasive irises out of my soon to be pear tree patch. Both my kids were covered in mud. Her naked (as usual), mud smeared on her arms and her back, him just plain drenched.

I should have taken a picture. Instead I wrestled with a million things to do.
