Large 1 bedroom ground level suite available in a family home. All utilities except phone and cable are included in the rent.
The suite offers morning sun through the living room window, afternoon sun on your personal deck, own w/d and a 4 piece bathroom. We welcome pets but they must get along with our 2 young kids and our elderly border collie. We are a 15 minute walk to Royal Roads University and a 45 minute bus ride to UVic (on the #52 direct). We are 2 blocks away from the walking trails of Hatley Park and a 4 minute drive or 30 minute walk down to Esquimalt Lagoon Beach. We are also a 30 minute walk to Thrifty Foods and Juan de Fuca Rec Centre. We have a huge veggie and perenial garden and big trees.
As this is a family home with young children we would like to make clear that the suite is not entirely soundproof. We will do our best to keep our noise levels down however, if you cannot handle hearing running, laughing, playing, or barking, then this is probably not the best home for you. We, on the other hand, welcome your noise within reason but not too late at night, your friendly pets, your love of our garden, and the occasional chit chat over beer or tea.
The suite is available August 1st but we'll hold it for the right person.
