Today was my last day of being a captain's wife. (Well, technically tomorrow is but only until 11am.) And then...
What?
It's been kind of cool chronicling this year. Cool that I can look back on it in thoughts and pictures. Cool that I got the chance, and that I followed through with an idea.
Not that I garnered a massive fanbase or made my millions or much of anything really, but I think I learned a thing or two...
Keeping this blog got me to look a little deeper at myself, at the lives of military families, at my children through my viewfinder, and at my husband in particular and the sacrifices he makes for us.
I see this as a jumping off point to the next. One door that has led to another. And the other? Well, that is in the works. Something new and different (to me).
So, tomorrow I'll post pictures of the Change of Command ceremony, then I guess I'll take my leave.
Just as he takes his, I will follow.
