Preschool's over. Sailing is over. We're into a new, summer routine and we haven't yet found our feet.
I spent the morning filling in the gaps on the calendar. Trying to construct a healthy balance of family time and activity. My girl is a social girl and, unlike me, is not happy with endless hours spent gardening.
"Mooommmm...I'm soooo bored!"
So, I need to find her things to do, people to play with, and stuff other than me and our nuclear selves to fill her days. I've settled on a drama camp before our trip to Alberta for a family reunion (dad's side), a gymnastics camp after that and before going to the cabin for a week of more family (mom's side) and another camp that has yet to be decided on for the last week in August, before she starts kindergarten.
It will be a full summer, a fun summer.
The last of its kind.
